  if you want to talk to someone in confidence

Lancashire Care Mental Health Helpline

• Person centred listening environment for people requiring emotional support in relation to their own mental health or that of someone they know
• Open 365 days a year and can be reached on 0800 915 4640
• Monday to Friday 7.00pm until 11.00pm
• Saturday & Sunday 12.00pm until Midnight

START Team – Mental health duty team, age over 18 years

• START operates core hours between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday during a standard working week
• Call them on 01772 676173

CAMHS – Mental health duty team, age under 18 years

• If you are already being treated by the CAMHS service, please ring the team between 9.00am and 5.00pm on 01772 644644
• The Duty Worker can offer advice about what to do in an urgent situation even if you are not currently being treated by the CAMHS service
