Face Mask Guidance Changes
Posted on 19 May 2023
One of the last and most visible reminders of the Covid Pandemic is about to change. I am pleased to report the local guidance regarding mask wearing in clinical settings has now been updated. With immediate effect, face masks are no longer required when visiting GP surgeries, although we understand some patients, particularly those with an immunosuppressed condition, may choose to continue to wear face masks while on site. Equally staff may feel it appropriate to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including masks when dealing with certain symptoms or suspected conditions.
