To protect the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of all patients and staff, our Practice operates a strict no-recording policy.
Recording and Photography by Patients
Patients and visitors are not permitted to:
- Audio record consultations
- Video record consultations
- Record telephone or video appointments
- Take photographs or videos within the waiting room, reception area or clinical rooms
- Photograph staff, other patients or confidential information
This applies to both face-to-face and remote consultations. If recording or photography is identified, you will be asked to stop immediately. These measures are in place to ensure a safe, respectful and confidential environment for everyone.
Telephone Call Recording by the Practice
Please note that telephone calls to and from the Practice are recorded for:
- Patient safety
- Training and quality assurance
- Complaint investigation
- Staff protection
All recordings are stored securely and managed in accordance with NHS data protection regulations and UK law.
Clinical Photography and Training Recordings
Where clinical photographs are required for your care, or where a trainee may need to record a consultation for training purposes, this will always be explained to you in advance and your consent will be obtained. You are free to decline without this affecting your care.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and confidential environment for all patients and staff.
